Description
Safety orientation for all employees on- and off-campus. This training covers basic occupational health and safety (OHS) standards, applicable legislation, and a worker's rights, roles and responsibilities.
This training is mandatory for all university employees working on- and off-campus.
Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, you will:
- Know your role and responsibilities regarding workplace safety;
- Know how to actively participate in health and safety;
- Become familiar with provincial legislation and university policies;
- Know how to access USask safety training;
- Know how to proactively manage workplace hazards; and
- Know how to report hazards and workplace incidents.
