Description
The Fire Extinguisher Training course is specific to the University of Saskatchewan and consists of theoretical training only. This course is intended for all individuals at the University of Saskatchewan who may use a fire extinguisher to put out a small fire. When used properly, fire extinguishers can save lives and property.
There is no practical component to this course.
Objectives:
In this course you will learn about the:
- Elements of fire;
- Basics of fire extinguishers; and
- Tactics for fighting a fire using a fire extinguisher.
