Description

Participants will be introduced to laboratory rodent housing and husbandry, behaviour, handling, and common procedures.

Objectives:

This session will introduce participants to the use of rodents in research. In this course, participants will learn:

• About housing and husbandry practices for laboratory rodents
• About acclimation, normal behaviour, environmental enrichment, and university policies.
• How to safely perform handling and common procedures on laboratory rodents
