Description
Writing successful grant proposals is key to having a strong research program. However, there is no official recognition that students, research administrators, and researchers need to be taught grant writing skills. I am happy to offer this self-enrollment grant writing course to graduate students, undergraduate students, residents, and research support professionals at the University of Saskatchewan. Newer faculty could also benefit from using this conceptual framework for grant writing.
Objectives:
This course will help educate students on proper Grant Writing Skills. It guides the student through various roles associated with grant writing including:
- Storyteller
- Grant Writer
- Typesetter
- Proofreader
- Accountant
- Reviewer
