Today, the increase of media-based information and misinformation highlights the need for media literacy education in post-secondary institutions. Media Literacy equips students, faculty, and staff with skills to analyze media messages, discern credible sources, take action against misinformation and engage media as full participants in our digital society. It also promotes digital well-being by helping individuals manage their online presence and mental health.

This collection of short self-guided learning modules and Open Educational Resources (OER) is designed for students, staff, and faculty to gain an awareness around media literacy principles and develop media literacy skills needed to be a responsible digital citizen in today's global village of media.
