Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) keeps cyber criminals out and protects your research, money, identity, and personal information, even if someone gets your password! Protect the pack – sign up for MFA by May 31!

MFA requires the use of a secondary form of authentication before granting access to your account, such as entering a code that is texted to you.

This session shows how to install and use the Microsoft Authenticator app onlyYou can review the MFA options and how they work to first decide if this option is right for you.  



This 30-minute session will walk participants through setting up MFA and using the Microsoft Authenticator app on their mobile device, including: 

  • What is MFA? 
  • Why use MFA? 
  • Walk-though of MFA set up using the Microsoft Authenticator app. 
  • Verifying your MFA enrollment. 
  • Using MFA to access certain USask services.
