Full course description
This AI Literacy Tutorial equips faculty with the knowledge needed to engage with AI intentionally rather than reactively as it reshapes teaching, research, and academic work. Across five modules, it builds from understanding how AI functions, to judging its outputs, addressing ethical and equity impacts, preserving human judgment and creativity, and sustaining disciplinary competence. The tutorial emphasizes that academic standards, student learning, and scholarly values are shaped by the choices instructors make about AI use. By developing shared understanding and responsibility, faculty help ensure AI strengthens higher education rather than quietly redefining it.
